Who Is Sylvester Stallone?
Born on July 6, 1946, Sylvester Stallone became an international star through his work as an actor, writer, and director. His breakthrough came with Rocky, the 1976 film he wrote and starred in as Rocky Balboa.
The success of Rocky changed his career. The film won the Academy Award for Best Picture, and Stallone went on to continue the character’s story through several sequels. He also created another major screen identity with John Rambo in the First Blood series.
Stallone’s official biography describes him as an actor, writer, and director whose career has included Rocky, Rambo, The Expendables, and many other films.
His professional life has often been associated with action, determination, and physical strength. His family life, however, has included both public moments and periods of considerable privacy.
How Many Children Does Sylvester Stallone Have?
Sylvester Stallone has five children.
His first marriage, to actress and photographer Sasha Czack, produced two sons:
- Sage Stallone
- Seargeoh Stallone
His marriage to Jennifer Flavin produced three daughters:
- Sophia Stallone
- Sistine Stallone
- Scarlet Stallone
This means that when people search for Sylvester Stallone son, they are generally referring to either Sage or Seargeoh.
The two brothers have had very different relationships with the entertainment industry. Sage became an actor and filmmaker, while Seargeoh has lived a considerably more private life.
Sage Stallone
Sage Moonblood Stallone was Sylvester Stallone’s first son and eldest child. He was born in Los Angeles in 1976 and grew up in a family already connected to Hollywood.
Sage became known to movie audiences when he appeared alongside his father in Rocky V in 1990. He played Robert Balboa Jr., the son of Rocky Balboa.
The role was especially notable because Sage was not simply playing a character connected to Stallone. He was playing the fictional son of his real-life father.
The official Stallone website identifies Sage as Stallone’s real-life son in its information about Rocky V. The movie’s story also focused partly on Rocky’s relationship with his son, making the casting particularly personal.
Sage later appeared in other projects, including Daylight, another film associated with his father. However, acting was not the only area that interested him.
He developed an interest in filmmaking and worked behind the camera as well. His career was still developing when his life ended unexpectedly in 2012.
Sage Stallone’s Death
Sage Stallone died in July 2012 at the age of 36.
According to reports from the time and later biographical coverage, his death was attributed to coronary artery disease. The loss deeply affected his family.
Stallone’s official website published a statement after Sage’s death describing him as a talented and wonderful young man and asking the public to respect the family’s privacy.
Sage’s death remains one of the most significant and painful chapters in the Stallone family’s public history.
For fans who remember him primarily from Rocky V, it is easy to think of Sage only as Rocky Balboa Jr. But he had begun building an identity of his own as a filmmaker and actor before his death.
Seargeoh Stallone
Seargeoh Stallone is Sylvester Stallone’s younger son with Sasha Czack.
He was born in 1979 and is known for maintaining a very private life. Unlike Sage, Seargeoh did not pursue a long public career in Hollywood.
Seargeoh had a small connection to the Rocky franchise as a child. He appeared as Robert Balboa Jr. in Rocky II, although the role was very limited.
His appearance is sometimes overlooked because he was so young at the time. Sage later played the same fictional character in Rocky V.
Seargeoh’s private life has also meant that relatively little reliable information about his adult years is publicly available. That distinction is important because many online biographies repeat details that are not supported by strong primary sources.
His family has generally respected his privacy, and there is no reason to treat the absence of public information as evidence of anything beyond that privacy.
Who Is Sylvester Stallone’s Oldest Son?
Sage Stallone was Sylvester Stallone’s oldest son.
Born in 1976, Sage was the first child of Stallone and Sasha Czack. He was four years older than his younger brother Seargeoh.
Sage’s position in the family gave him a unique connection to his father’s most famous movie character. He played Rocky Balboa Jr. in Rocky V, making him part of one of the most recognizable film families in Hollywood.
Unlike many celebrity children who remain completely outside entertainment, Sage chose to explore filmmaking himself.
His work demonstrated that his interests extended beyond simply being known as Sylvester Stallone’s son.
Did Sylvester Stallone’s Sons Follow His Career?
There is some connection between both sons and their father’s movie career, but their paths were not the same.
Sage had the more visible Hollywood career. His acting debut came in Rocky V, and he later worked on additional film projects. He also explored filmmaking and directing.
Seargeoh, by contrast, appeared briefly in Rocky II as a child but did not build a comparable acting career.
This difference is one of the most interesting parts of the Stallone family story. Being born into a famous Hollywood family did not mean that every child followed the same professional direction.
The family also includes three daughters who have developed their own public careers and interests.
Sylvester Stallone’s Daughters
While searches for Sylvester Stallone son usually focus on Sage and Seargeoh, his three daughters are an important part of the family’s story.
Stallone and Jennifer Flavin have three daughters: Sophia, Sistine, and Scarlet.
Sophia, born in 1996, has worked in media and fashion and has appeared publicly with her family. She also co-hosted the Unwaxed podcast with her sister Sistine.
Sistine, born in 1998, developed a career in modeling and acting. She has appeared in films including 47 Meters Down: Uncaged and Midnight in the Switchgrass.
Scarlet, born in 2002, has also explored entertainment and modeling. She appeared in her father’s television series Tulsa King, continuing the family’s connection to acting.
The three sisters have frequently appeared together at public events and have also shared aspects of their family life through media projects.

Sage’s age is described as what his age would be today because he died in 2012.

Sylvester Stallone’s Family Life
Stallone’s family story stretches across several decades of Hollywood history.
He married Sasha Czack in 1974, and they had two sons, Sage and Seargeoh. The marriage ended in 1985.
Stallone later married Jennifer Flavin in 1997. They have three daughters together.
The family’s public story has included major successes as well as difficult personal moments. Sage’s death in 2012 was a particularly significant loss.
In later years, Stallone has spoken publicly about the importance of family and the challenge of balancing a demanding entertainment career with being a parent.
His daughters have also provided a more personal look at the family through interviews and their podcast work.
Sylvester Stallone as a Father
Stallone’s public image has traditionally been built around tough movie characters. His daughters, however, have often described a different side of him.
In interviews, Sophia, Sistine, and Scarlet have spoken about their father as someone who gives them advice and takes an active interest in their lives.
An interview with the sisters published by Harper’s Bazaar described their family as close and showed how Stallone encouraged them to work hard and take their education seriously.
Stallone has also appeared on the Unwaxed podcast, where Sophia and Sistine interviewed him about his childhood, career, and experience raising children.
That appearance gave audiences a less formal look at the actor and highlighted the relationship he has with his daughters.
His family has also appeared together in The Family Stallone, a reality series centered on Stallone, Jennifer Flavin, and their three daughters.
The series introduced viewers to family interactions that are very different from the action-heavy roles that made Stallone famous.
The Family Connection to Rocky
The Rocky franchise has a particularly strong connection to Stallone’s children.
Seargeoh appeared as baby Robert Balboa Jr. in Rocky II. Years later, Sage played Robert Balboa Jr. in Rocky V.
This means that two of Stallone’s sons appeared as the same fictional character at different points in the franchise.
The connection was especially meaningful because Rocky Balboa was created by Stallone himself.
The character became one of the defining roles of his career and eventually became part of the family story on screen as well.
What Are Sylvester Stallone’s Children Doing Today?
The public information available about Stallone’s children differs considerably.
Sophia, Sistine, and Scarlet remain the most visible members of the next generation of the Stallone family. They have pursued interests in fashion, entertainment, podcasting, modeling, and acting.
In 2026, Sophia has continued to receive public attention for her personal and professional life, while Sistine and Scarlet have also maintained careers of their own.
Seargeoh remains largely outside the entertainment spotlight. Because he has chosen a private life, reliable public information about his current activities is limited.
Sage’s legacy remains connected to his acting work, particularly Rocky V, as well as his interest in filmmaking.
It is worth separating confirmed information from online speculation when discussing members of the family who do not regularly appear in the media.
Why People Search for Sylvester Stallone Son
Interest in Sylvester Stallone son comes partly from the connection between Hollywood’s most recognizable action star and his children.
Sage’s appearance in Rocky V made him particularly memorable to fans. Seargeoh’s appearance in Rocky II created another connection between the Stallone family and the Rocky franchise.
At the same time, the family’s story is much broader than those movie appearances.
Stallone’s children have taken different paths, and their experiences show that growing up in a famous family does not automatically lead to the same career or lifestyle.
For fans, that contrast makes the Stallone family interesting beyond the movies themselves.
